Accrington Wildcats U9s Match Report
Accrington Wildcats U9s put in a strong performance against Latchford and Orrell St James, starting the game with great energy and determination. From the first whistle, all players showed excellent effort and commitment, maintaining that intensity throughout the match.
The Wildcats were rewarded for their hard work with tries from Henry, Dexter, and Reuben, each demonstrating great awareness and teamwork to get over the line.
A special mention goes to Reuben, who was named Coaches Player for his outstanding consistency across all matches played. His reliability and work rate have been a real asset to the team.
The Supporters Player award went to Henry, who impressed with his relentless effort and determination from start to finish.
For the opposition, Aubree was recognised as Opposition Player for a fantastic all-round performance. In their first time as captain, Aubree showed excellent communication and leadership throughout the game.
There were also some standout moments worth highlighting as magic moments:
• Mason delivered an excellent shoulder tackle in a brilliant defensive effort
• Mac showed great sportsmanship by volunteering to play and help another team
• Myles also stepped up to support another team, showing fantastic team spirit.
