Committee & Club Roles

Chair
The public face of the Club, leading Committee meetings, emergency meetings and the Annual General Meeting. Provides direction to the Club Committee with support from the Executive Committee.
Vice Chair
Takes on the role of Acting Chair in the absence of the Club Chair, supports the Chair with their duties and executive decisions.
Secretary
Responsible for facilitating Club meetings, ensuring that minutes are kept and communicated. The main point of contact for the Club. Responsible for keeping legal and constitutional registers and records.
Treasurer
Manages all Club finances, keeping accurate records of income and expenditure. Responsible for reporting any areas of financial concern to the Club Committee.
Club Welfare Officer
Responsible for ensuring that player welfare is the first priority of the Club. First point of contact for any safeguarding concerns. Responsible for carrying out Listening Club Sessions with each team at least once per season. Requires an RFL DBS, SPC course and attendance at a Time to Listen Course.
Assistant Welfare Officer
Supports the CWO with their duties. Requires an RFL DBS, SPC course and attendance at a Time to Listen Course (preferably of the opposite gender to the CWO).
Director of Rugby
Responsible for the overall playing aims and coaching consistency of the Club across all junior and senior squads.
Head Coach
Responsible for Coach development, standardising training methodologies, and supporting squad managers.
Health & Safety Officer
Ensures that all required safety checks are carried out and recorded, including risk assessments and accident reports. Ensures that each team has adequate first aider availability and sufficient first aid stocks.
Media & PR Officer
Responsible for the promotion of the Club including management of social media channels and website content. First point of contact for prospective members through online platforms.
Club Development Officer
Responsible for maintaining the Club’s Development Plan in line with the Club Objectives as set by the Executive Committee.
Fundraising Officer
Responsible for bidding on grants, organizing the Club 100, facilitating fundraisers, and acting as the main point of contact for sponsors.
Kit & Equipment Officer
Responsible for monitoring and ordering the playing kit, training kit, and matchday equipment needed for each team.
Social & Events Officer
Responsible for organizing off-field events, presentation evenings, and community gatherings in conjunction with team staff.
Outreach Officer
Responsible for liaising with local schools and professional clubs in the area to build pathways into the Wildcats.
Fixtures Co-Ordinator
Responsible for booking pitches for all home matches, confirming referee availability, and organizing training space at Wilson's.
Registrations Co-Ordinator
Responsible for player registrations, league licensing, and re-registrations in conjunction with the Secretary.
Volunteer Co-Ordinator
Responsible for ensuring that matchday and training staffing levels are adequate and welcoming new volunteers into the fold.
