The Accrington Wildcats U9s travelled to Westhoughton Lions this morning and produced another performance full of determination, teamwork and effort in difficult conditions.

A big well done to all the players, who battled hard against a strong opposition in the heat and never stopped working for each other from start to finish.

“A big well done to all the players from this morning’s game! It was hot, the opposition was good and we got tired, but we never gave up (despite a few claims to the contrary). That performance wasn’t far from being a complete team performance today and that’s what I ask them for. They keep getting better and better. Well done from a happy coach 😁”
