Full Fixture ListThe Accrington Wildcats Under 8s squad is the perfect introduction to the sport for boys and girls in School Year 3. This age group focuses on non-contact tag rugby league, providing a high-energy environment where the emphasis is firmly on fun, participation, and basic skill development.
By removing the contact element, we allow players to build their confidence with the ball in hand. Our coaching team focuses on the fundamentals of the game: catching, passing, and evasion, alongside the core principles of teamwork and sportsmanship that define the Pride of Accrington.

Summer training is grass-based at Wilson’s. Players are required to bring suitable footwear for grass and their own water bottles. New players are always welcome for a 4-week free trial.
