The Accrington Wildcats Under 9s are a long-standing, established squad within our junior ranks. Catering for boys and girls in School Year 4, this team has been involved in full-contact Rugby League since their Under 7s season, representing a high standard of grit and experience for their age group in Hyndburn.
Because this squad is already well-versed in the physical nature of the sport, our coaching focus shifts toward tactical maturity. We prioritise advanced defensive structures, creative attacking lines, and the discipline required to compete at a high level while maintaining the “team-first” culture of the Pride.

Summer training is grass-based at Wilson’s. Players are required to bring suitable footwear for grass and their own water bottles. New players are welcome for a 4-week free trial.
