Full Fixture ListThe Accrington Wildcats Under 6s (Cubs) squad is where the Pride begins. Catering for boys and girls in Reception and School Year 1, this is the official starting point of a child’s Rugby League journey in Hyndburn, focusing on building a lifelong love for the sport through fun and active play.
Our “Cubs” program is designed to be high-energy and completely inclusive. We understand that for many children, this is their first experience with structured team sports. Our coaches prioritise a gentle introduction to the ball, helping young players find their feet, make new friends, and develop the confidence that comes with being a Wildcat.

Focusing on “Physical Literacy”—running, jumping, catching, and basic spatial awareness in a safe, fun-first environment.

Parents are required to stay on-site for the duration of the session. Summer training is on grass; please ensure children have plenty of water and suitable footwear. New players receive a 4-week free trial.
