Wildcats Shine: Outstanding Team Performance in Home Festival

ACCRINGTON, LANCASHIRE – The Accrington Wildcats U9s welcomed Hindley, Culcheth, and Woolston Rovers to their home ground for a fantastic morning of rugby, delivering another outstanding team performance.

The Wildcats showed great determination, teamwork, and effort throughout the morning, building on the high standards they have set over the last few weeks. The team worked incredibly hard for each other in both attack and defence, leaving plenty of positives to take away from all the games played.

Myles made it a clean sweep, selected by our visiting opponents for his incredibly tough, strong, and determined performance throughout the festival.

✨ Magic Moment: Henry, Dexter, and Myles
The standout highlight of the festival came when Henry, Dexter, and Myles combined brilliantly to hold the ball up over the try line. Their incredible display of determination, physical toughness, and a true “never-give-up” attitude successfully prevented a certain score!

This was another incredibly strong team performance from the Wildcats. There are still some areas to work on, but there were plenty of things done really well. If the last two weeks have been our best performances so far and there is still room for improvement, it shows just how much potential this group of players truly has.
